- To open, pull up the steam-release vent tab to release pressure, then lift the lid using the corner tab and rim.
- To close, with the steam vent open, align the lid with the dish and press down in the center of the lid. Close the valve to create a secure, spill-proof seal.
- Follow the max-fill lines – the straight line is the max-fill for most foods to avoid spills and keep the lid clean. The wavy max-fill line is used when freezing liquids like soups or sauces to allow for safe expansion during freezing.
- For oven use (up to 572°F/300°C), always remove the plastic airtight lid.
- In the microwave, keep the lid on with the vent open to release steam.
- Let the dish sit at room temperature for 10 minutes when moving between cold and hot environments to prevent cracking.
- Dishwasher safe. Remove valve and silicone gasket for deep cleaning, then reattach and store with the lid off to prevent moisture buildup.
