Spicy Burgers
Ingredients (4 people):
- 600 gm ground beef (±1.3 lb)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 15 ml Worcestershire sauce (±1 tbsp)
- 10 ml Dijon mustard (±2 tsp)
- 4 sprigs of parsley (finely chopped)
- 5 ml smoked paprika (±1 tsp)
- 2 ml cayenne or chipotle chili powder (more or less if desired) (±½ tsp)
- 5 ml salt (±1 tsp)
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- Burger buns, sliced cheese, lettuce, pickles...
Preparation time: 10 min.
Cooking time: 16 min.
Standing time: 10 min.

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a medium bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.

Evenly divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties using the Hamburger Press.

To cook on the stove top:
Heat Black Series Fry Pan on medium heat, adding a small amount of oil if needed. Cook burgers for 2-3 min.* Flip patties and cook for 2-3 min. Adjust cooking time as needed until you reach desired doneness.

Remove burgers from pan and allow to rest for 5-10 min. before serving.

Serve patties in burger buns with desired toppings.
Additional Note:
*Check internal temperature to find out if your burger is done to your liking! And remember to remove burgers from pan a little before desired temperature, as the internal temperature will continue to rise after cooking.
- Medium-rare: 130°-135°F
- Medium: 140°-145°F
- Medium well: 150°-155°F
- Well-done: 160°-165°F
